Fairlands Lake
Since 2010 Welwyn Garden City Angling Club (WGCAC) has managed the fishing activity at the Park on behalf of the Council. WGCAC provide the bailiffs and enforcement for the waters.
Situated within the heart of Stevenage and built in the early 1970’s, the Park has over 20 acres of open water across four linked lakes. Fishing is available on the Main Lake at Fairlands Valley Park. Stocked with carp to 35lb, Crucians to 4lb, Chub, Barbel, Roach, Rudd, Perch. Spodding is allowed.
Day ticket prices are £8.20 for the first rod, £5 for the second, £6.15 for concessions. Night Fishing is £20 per 24hrs and £16 for a members ticket, and must be pre-booked with the head bailiff (Including members)
